Emma Graduates

Emma graduated from preschool. She had a fun year. She loved her teachers very much, and liked to play with her friends. She was happy she got to graduate with her friend Kasey. She will miss her teachers and friends, but looks forward to starting kindergarten in the fall.

The Team Starts

Lightning, Jacob’s faith squad character, saw that Orange Globe, Lightning’s enemy, was going to get him. So Lightning ran 100mph to Orange Globe. Orange globe hit Lightning. Then Lightning woke up and saw something rolling toward him. He couldn’t move. Then a girl came and saved him.
“Thanks!”, said Lightning, “what’s your name?”
“Maddy”, she said, “but everyone calls me ‘The Sapphire’”.
“Okay, do you know the way out of here?” said Lightning.
“Yea, let’s go!” said Sapphire.
They got into the ship. They saw a little girl.
“Hey what’s your name?” said Lightning.
“I’m Super Girl.” She said. “Uh oh! Look!” said Sapphire,
“We got to stop before Orange Globe gets us!” said Lightning.
When they landed Orange Globe came and attacked them but then lightning picked up a chair and threw it at Orange Globe! Sapphire picked up Super girl and she turned into fire. Saphhire threw Super Girl at Orange Globe.
Then Orange globe was dead.
The three, Lightning, Sapphire, and Super Girl, all thanked Jesus for making them strong, and for helping them.

A Hero Is Born

This story begins with a boy named Jacob. He is 9 years old. In just a few seconds the rest of his life will be changed…..forever. For now this is the story of his life. It starts at dinner. Jacob and his parents were eating dinner. After dinner Jacob asked if he could play the gamecube.
“Please can I play it?” asked Jacob.
“No” said his mom.
“What!!” said Jacob, “Dang it.”
“Go see if your room is clean,” said his dad.
“Okay (sigh),” said Jacob.
At that very moment a scientist was driving in his car very fast! Jacob saw him and then a liquid flew right out of the car. It spilled right on Jacob.
“Ah!!!” yelled Jacob.
Froosh!!!!
“Oh gosh what is this stuff?” said Jacob, “whoa I...I have some sort of energy going through my body.” He started to walk “dude!! I’m walking but I’m going as fast as I run? This is too weird.”
He picked up one of his toys ZAP!!!
“Hey, I just z…z…z…zapped this with l…l…l…lightning.” Exclaimed Jacob. “Wait when that stuff spilled on me it gave me incredible lightning powers. this is too cool!!!”
He went outside. He ran around the block. He was back in 2 seconds. “Wow!!” Jacob shouted.
“Hey!” Said a voice.
Jacob saw the scientist. He tackled Jacob.
“Hey, what’s the matter” said Jacob.
“You stole my liquid!!” Said the scientist.
“No, it fell on me.” Said Jacob. “Oh you want it back? Well, here you go!”
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
ZAP!!! POW!! ZWEP!!
“Don’t mess with me.” Said Jacob.
Then Jacob made a costume and said, “I will call myself lightning!!!”
Then he ran to where there was trouble.
“Whoa” he said.
He saw a villain. He heard the villain yell, “My name is Orange globe!”
“Oh no………” thought Jacob

I like drawing because it is fun. I like drawing people and dogs. I want to be an artist when I grow up and I will draw people pictures. I also like making songs. I like making cards for my friends and family. Some are big some are small. I also like going on the computer and playing games. I like Obi-wan-Kenobi (Ewan MacGregor) and Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christiansen).
I love Johnny Depp! And Orlando Bloom. They are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLL.
Dylan and Cole Sprouse on “The Suite life of Zack and Cody” are saweeeeeeet. Disney Channel is the best (even though I don’t have cable Tee hee hee)

I like “High School Musical”. My favorite celebrity is Sharpay. My favorite song is “Bop to the Top”. It is a good movie. I love it!

My First Play by Madeline Budz

In April I was in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream coat”, with my brother and sister. I sang songs and I acted. My favorite song is “Close Every Door to me”. I sang in a trio. It’s the part when Joseph was in jail. The stage was colorful. We had rainbow shirts and colorful flags. My brother was Joseph. I had fun.

My acting career so far . . .

I was in a musical called “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat”. It was at Christ Lutheran church. I got to play the part of Joseph. It was a lot of fun. I got to sing a solo called “Any Dream Will Do”. My dad and I are also in a play called “The Princess and the Pea” at the Enchanted Playhouse. I am having a lot of fun. This is my dad’s first time in the Enchanted Playhouse. He loves being a king. I also liked being in “The Jungle Book” last fall, also at the Enchanted playhouse. I was a wolf cub named Forang. I also was in an acting workshop last summer. I played an evil pirate named Jacques.
